Using Photoshop and Corel Painter 11, learn to transform your images into paintings that replicate the former Masters of our time. Oils like Rembrandt, Impressionism like Monet, Photo realism like Norman Rockwell and even Cubism like Cezanne and Picasso !

We will learn to interpret high key portraits to be painted as watercolors and low key images as classical portraiture for the heirloom Canvas Oil Painting .

Using the digital tools available to us today, Fay will show you how to turn your images into Watercolor and Oil Masterpieces that mimic the style and paintings of some of the worlds most famous artists that ever lived!

From Fays special signature style of blending an image, to the recipes that Fay will share with you to use with your Auto Photo Painting Pallets, Learn to paint in the different paintings styles of the Old Masters!

Fay has created new brush categories that replicate the brush strokes of the Old Masters, that will help you achieve dramatic results in your paintings !

You will receive some of these brushes in a workspace as a gift to you when you take this workshop!

You will learn to transform your images into paintings that will replicate the works of the Old Masters. Learn Photo realism like Norman Rockwell ! Apply Oils like Rembrandt , Paint Impressionistic strokes like Monet , and even Renoir! Monet had a gift for capturing the subtleties of changing light, suggesting motion without literally depicting it, and conveying mood through color and and economy of brush strokes. Learn how to apply these brush strokes with Fays new brushes that she created in honor of painter X, that will make your paintings shimmer with brilliance.

From retouching your image in Photoshop, to applying your paints and blending them in Painter, to the final printing process, including tips on marketing your paintings! you will learn how to transform your photos into beautiful works of art !

Fay's Bio

Fay Sirkis is an internationally-recognized portrait artist, photographer and instructor. She speaks at conferences and seminars both here in the US and in Europe. She recently spoke in England at "Focus on Imaging", one of the largest photography conventions Europe, in honor of the of Painter X launch!

She is a New York based contemporary digital artist, with a background in traditional fine art. She attended the Pratt School of Professional Studies in New York City, where she became certified in Graphic and Web Design. She also attended Rockhurst College CE in New York City for her certification in printing and pre-press.

Fay is on the advisory council of Corel Painter, and was a Beta tester as well as instrumental in the launching of Painter IX and X !

Fay is a "Painter Master" and has her work featured in Corel's Painter Masters Art Gallery, as well as their numerous ad campaigns, including their new calendar, printed in honor of Painter X, 2007!

Fay has been honored by Canon as a "Canon Print Master" and her work is featured in numerous Canon brochures as well !

Fay is part of the "Dream Team" Instructors that teach at the National Association of Photoshop Professional's Photoshop World Conferences. Her tutorial on "Photo Painting" was the featured article at Photoshop World Boston, and in the Photoshop User Magazine. She is best known for her simplistic way of teaching, making the learning curve in the digital world easier to master!

Her commissioned portraits and paintings are held in private collections internationally, and also exhibited in museums and art galleries.
