Creating Paintings from Photographs
Master Craftsman Portrait artist Marilyn Sholin creates paintings from photographs for her portrait clients and original art exhibits. During this session, she will demonstrate how professional photographers can quickly and easily use digital media to create paintings from their own photos using Corel Painter.
Marilyn will demonstrate how photographers can use Corel Painter to capture the images in their imaginations and create a style that is uniquely their own. She'll show how an original portrait photograph and is transformed into a painting using digital media -- creating a delicate blend of photography and paint that can be printed on a variety of mediums including watercolor papers and canvas.

Marilyn, with COREL PAINTER has created, mastered, and innovated the art of photography to a new level. She creates and develops groundbreaking art, which originates from photography. Her original art has been exhibited coast to coast and she has been commissioned by the Miami Childrens Museum to create their first original poster and have the painting on exhibit in the museum.
