Gary Small is an award-winning professional photographer, with a career spanning over 30 years; working with Photoshop for the last 15.

He recently took over the reigns of Photographic Creations, the portrait/wedding studio his father founded in 1984.

Gary is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, and holds the Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman degrees from PP of A.

He is also a PP of A Certified Professional Photographer and was the first photographer in New York State to receive the PP of A Certified Electronic Imaging title. Gary is a past president of the Professional Photographers of Greater New York.

He is also a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.

Gary has been teaching Photoshop for over 10 years. He has presented over 125+ seminars and lectures on a range of photographic topics throughout his career.

Gary is a regular contributor to the Picture-soup.com website, and had been published in Studio Photography and PTN magazines, The New York Photographer, and imaginginfo.com.

Gary is often tapped by photographic companies and labs as a consultant and beta tester. Most recently, he was a beta tester for Photoshop CS5 and CS6, working with the beta and pre-release versions of the software. In addition to Photoshop classes, he offers one-on-one tutoring on the topics of digital capture, manipulation, printing and color management.
